BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS
Presented by Woodstock Opera House

Description
A musical institution, Blood Sweat & Tears has left an indelible mark on the American music scene since 1968.  One of the greatest horn bands in the history of popular music, BS&T’s alumni roster reads like a Who’s Who of the world’s greatest jazz and rock musicians. Starting out in Greenwich Village in New York, the band won world-wide acclaim, becoming the “first” in many categories: first band to tour behind the Iron Curtain, first band to have 3 hit singles from the same record, first band to combine rock with jazz and of course their famous Sunday night performance at the 1969 festival at WOODSTOCK.

BS&T has sold millions of recordings and earned multiple gold albums with 10 Grammy nominations and 3 Grammy Awards, including the most prestigious of them all, Album of the Year. Concerts by Blood, Sweat & Tears have continued to score record attendance and sold out shows throughout the world proving once again that great musicians produce great music. Don’t miss your one chance to see this band in the intimate setting that is the Woodstock Opera House.

CATHY RICHARDSON
Presented by One Zero Charlie Productions

Description
Richardson is well-known for her passionate and gutsy performance as Janis Joplin in the show "Love, Janis". Cathy starred in the show's twenty month run at the Village Gate Theatre in New York City.

Cathy arrives on our stage after a world-wide tour with the "Heroes of Woodstock Show" as lead vocalist with Jefferson Starship, in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the 1969 Woodstock Music & Art Fair. After that "Woodstock", there was only one "Woodstock" left for Cathy to conquer... Woodstock, Illinois!

Cathy is a familiar face on the Midwest music scene. Her wildly popular namesake band relentlessly pummels the live circuit performing 150 shows a year, cranking out a critically acclaimed body of work. Over the last decade, her career has taken twists and turns that steered her into the international spotlight, smack in the middle of rock & roll history.

The singer, songwriter and renaissance woman returns to her Illinois roots with her January appearance at the Woodstock Opera House, performing with the latest incarnation of her divinely wicked band.
