THE CROWN VICS
Presented by Woodstock Opera House

Description
The Chicago-based Crown Vics have been bringing audiences their intrepid blend of 1950's birth of Rock 'n' Roll and R&B showstoppers since 2003. Steeped in the big beat rhythms of Bill Haley & the Comets, the screaming saxes of early honkers like Joe Houston and the frenetic energy of Freddie Bell and Jimmy Cavallo, the six piece Crown Vics recreate the vintage sounds, sights and vibe of an early 50's Alan Freed stage spectacular—one that has to be seen to be believed. When only the most authentic early 50's rock 'n' roll experience will do, get hip to the jive and set the clock to rock—it's time for The Crown Vics.
