Denny Diamond's breakthrough was originally on Dick Clark's, "Your Big Break", a program that showcased his talent and his special tribute to Neil Diamond. Denny was chosen to sing "America" because of the uncanny similarity his voice has to the unique baritone of Neil Diamond. The episode was the most viewed and also the most re-run episode of the series. Denny's appearance eventually led to a chance meeting with Sean Kelly. A talented musician who was traveling with the group Sixpence None The Richer. A group most known for their hits, "Kiss Me" and "There She Goes". Denny subsequently created "Denny Diamond & The Longfellows", a group that has been performing in Nashville and throughout the Midwest ever since.
